SAS strikes at weapons of mass destruction: forces chief
Australia's elite Special Air Service troops are in Iraq and have
struck at "command and control nodes" linked with Iraqi weapons of mass
destruction, according to the commander of Australian forces in the
Brigadier Maurie McNairn has given the first briefing
on the activities of his troops.
Brigadier McNairn says the SAS has
been in Iraq for several days after receiving its orders from the
